SUNDAY : Transfers from Pisa or Florence airports/train stations for arrival at your palazzo in the centre of Lucca or villa in the hills and olive groves on the outskirts of Lucca for a welcome Tuscan buffet lunch where you will meet your hosts & cooking colleagues. There's time to settle in and relax before the first hands-on cooking lesson with preparation of dinner. Enjoy a prosecco aperitivo before your own cooked dinner.
MONDAY : After a capuccino and a pastry, take an early morning stroll along the top of the medieval Walls of Lucca to work up an appetite for a specially themed pasta cooking lesson followed by lunch. Spend the afternoon eating your way around Lucca as you visit gourmet suppliers and producers with a stop in a wine-cellar for a tasting of local wines. It's then back in the kitchen for a hands-on cooking lesson and preparation of dinner. TUESDAY : After breakfast, depart for a Chianti adventure stopping at an enchanting market town as well as renowned vineyard for wine-tasting and lunch. In the early afternoon travel through rolling hills and vines to San Gimignano to explore its towers, piazzas and Sergio Dondoliís "champion" gelato. Return home for an informal pizza supper in a local trattoria.
WEDNESDAY : An early breakfast before joining your chef for a tour of the bustling market town of Pistoia to choose fresh produce for a kitchen challenge cooking lesson in preparation of a Tuscan buffet lunch. Time out to relax before an afternoon cooking lesson with preparation of dinner and an in-house wine-tasting. THURSDAY : Enjoy breakfast before departing for a "slow food" day in the Garfagnana. Visit a local cheese producer before joining and enjoying Andrea at Il Mulino (an old mill) for a Tuscan tasting lunch. Return to Lucca for an afternoon fish themed cooking lesson with aperitivi and a fish supper. FRIDAY : A relaxing morning before a hands-on pastry lesson discovering some of the tips and tricks of a London pastry chef! After lunch enjoy some free time either relaxing at home, exploring Lucca or visiting the Campo dei Miracoli in Pisa where the Leaning Tower leans! The final hands-on cooking lesson with preparation of dinner. Farewell drinks, graduation ceremony and celebration dinner.
