Delve into the true tastes of Italian cooking and enjoy a well paced balance between food and wine which is complimented by a special insight into our own personal selection of some of the hidden treasures of Tuscany.With a minimum of 7 hands-on cooking lessons and preparation of your own meals, your Italian chef and sommelier, Valter, will guide you through a true taste of Tuscan and Italian cuisine both in and out of the kitchen.Days are filled with discovery but there’s also time to relax, reflect and enjoy the “dolce vita”.
A comprehensive and diverse look at Tuscany through the eyes of an AIS sommelier, visiting vineyards and meeting local producers. Gain hands-on understanding of taste, textures, flavours and disciplines in Italian wine-making as you explore Lucca and Montecarlo, Chianti and San Gimignano, Bolgheri and the Maremma, the Cinque Terre.
